Charlottesville Abundant Life Executive Director Nathan Walton and Middle School Tutoring Coordinator Cooper Good joined me on The I Love CVille Show!
We spotlighted Charlottesville Abundant Life’s efforts in the City of Charlottesville and the Prospect Neighborhood. The Prospect Neighborhood, one of five federally defined low-income neighborhoods in the City of Charlottesville, is home to a vibrant and diverse community of nearly 400 families.
Charlottesville Abundant Life launched in 1996. Since then, juvenile delinquency in the neighborhood has dropped by two-thirds, high school graduation and college-attendance rates have increased, residents have bought homes for the first time.
Charlottesville Abundant Life epitomizes everything that is awesome and positive about Charlottesville and Central Virginia. Nathan and Cooper did a tremendous job representing this charity.
