Dog Fest 2018 Was A Smash Success In Charlottesville, Virginia!

DOG FEST 2018 was a SMASH SUCCESS!! More than 2,000 people showed up throughout the day to celebrate Central Virginia canines!

There were more than 50 pet-friendly businesses and rescue groups at Dog Fest. The Pollocks, one of Charlottesville, Virginia’s best bands, absolutely CRUSHED IT on stage!

And don’t forget the Dog Costume Contest!! I loved seeing all the dogs dressed up and strutting their stuff with their owners around IX Art Park. I was a judge for this costume contest along with the hilarious Amy Wicks-Horn and the talented Kasey Hott of WVIR NBC29.

Kudos to Pattie Boden, the owner of Animal Connection – All Natural Store for Dogs, Cats & Horses, for organizing an awesome event. Dog Fest is an amazing community event.

Thank you to Brewmaster Dave Warwick of Three Notch’d Brewing Company for making the “Big Dog Blonde Ale” for Dog Fest. A portion of the proceeds for the “Big Dog Blonde Ale” will be donated to the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA!
