Locally-Owned Greenberry’s Coffee Co. Is Increasing Production To Meet Happy Customer Demand Across The World

by

Greenberry’s Coffee Co. is ramping production to accommodate demand from happy customers at five Costcos across Virginia. By the Fall of 2018, CEO Sean Simmons expects to have the Greenberry’s bags on the shelves of 10 Costco locations.

Greenberry’s launched in 1992 out of the McIntire Office Park. Sean and his intelligent wife, Roxanne, used a beat-up Honda Civic to deliver their coffee around Central Virginia. They opened their first location in Barracks Road Shopping Center, and today are the longest running Charlottesville, Virginia coffee roasters. Greenberry’s celebrated its 25-year anniversary in 2017.

Mary Milton gives me a tour of the Greenberry’s Coffee Co. production line in this I Love CVille video spotlight. We choose to focus on the “in’s and out’s” of meeting the Costco demand in the feature.

I am very impressed with Greenberry’s Coffee Co. This husband-and-wife owned family business is legitimately a global business with locations in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Washington, DC and soon Seattle, Washington.

Greenberry’s directly and indirectly employs 100+ people.
