Robert Green grew up near Lexington, Kentucky on Greentree Stud, a thoroughbred breeding farm. After graduating from UVA in 1969 Green began a 20-year career in farming, farm management, and real estate, first in Kentucky and then in Georgia. Though his expertise is in assisting purchasers, Bob also represents sellers and has handled transactions involving everything from horse farms to quail plantations.

In 1990, Bob moved with his wife Emma and their 4 children to the Charlottesville area where he has brokered the sale of estates, farms and investment properties. In 2012, Bob teamed up with David Sloan and Aaron Manis and currently serves as Principal Broker of Sloan Manis Real Estate Partners.
