(1). Katelyn is a second generation real estate agent. She grew up in Northern Virginia watching her mom, Kristin Kelly, successfully operate a powerhouse a real estate business in a very competitive market. How did this upbringing influence her life and career choice?
(2). What’s it like working at a fantastic company like Roy Wheeler under CEO Michael Guthrie, who serves as a mentor, leader and visionary for the organization?
(3). What are some of Katelyn’s favorite aspects of working in real estate?
(4). Katelyn is passionate about Charlottesville and Central Virginia. What does she enjoys about living in the area?
(5). Katelyn LOVES so many aspects of Charlottesville and Central Virginia, including the outdoors, the restaurants, the breweries, the vineyards, the live music and the University of Virginia. Some of her favorite places are King Family Vineyards, Smoked Kitchen and Tap, Blue Mountain Brewery, Junction restaurant and the super talented Chef Melissa Close-Hart.
(6). Katelyn loves animals as much as she loves real estate. She grew up riding horses. Her rescue dog, Mini, is always in her hands or by her feet. In fact, Mini is apart of Katelyn’s personal brand, which is soooo awesome! I asked Katelyn about her love for animals and why this is important to her. She is a passionate supporter of rescue groups like Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA and Caring For Creatures!
(7). Katelyn and the Roy Wheeler team are committed to making Charlottesville and Central Virginia a better place to live. You may see Katelyn ringing the The Salvation Army Charlottesville, VA bell at The Market at Bellair. Community service and leaving Central Virginia in a better place are very important to Katelyn.
(8). Katelyn offered important strategies for “staging” your home as sellers prepare to list their properties. I would encourage everyone to listen to these strategies.
(9). I asked Katelyn if Charlottesville, Virginia is a better place today than when she first arrived? I LOVED her answer!
