Hey, it’s Jerry Miller, I’m inside I Love CVille on the historic Charlottesville Downtown Mall. Today for Miller’s Minute, I’m going to take 60 seconds to spotlight a husband and wife tandem that’s making a big impact in Charlottesville’s business world.
Sean and Roxanne Simmons are the owners behind Greenberry’s Coffee. More than 25 years ago, Sean and Roxanne started Greenberry’s out of the McIntire Office Park. They used a Honda Civic to distribute their coffee all around Central Virginia. In January of 1993, they opened their first location in Barracks Road Shopping Center, and Sean told us every six months the hinges on the doors would wear out because of happy customers.
Today, Greenberry’s Coffee is a major global player with 30+ franchises all over the world. They probably employ more than 100 people with indirect and direct staff in Central Virginia and they’re making an impact in Charlottesville, for sure.
