10 Reasons To Attend DOG FEST and Howl-O-Ween!

1. “Dog Fest” will be held at IX Art Park on Sunday, October 29th from 12-5 pm. Your family and furry friends are welcome to this free event. We are raising funds for pet rescue groups across Charlottesville and Central Virginia!

2. Prizes will be awarded for the most “Creative Dog Costume” and the “Best Dog Costume.” Judging begins at 2 pm at the main stage! Dress your doggies up for Halloween and get in the holiday spirit!

3. Animal Connection and a host of other local pet-friendly vendors will have more than 40 booths featuring healthy dog treats, day care information, trainers, vets and much more.

4. If you don’t have a pet, that’s okay! Come meet local rescue pets in need of a good home. There will be local pet rescues with adoptable dogs, raffles, gift bags, dog games and more!

6. Meet other local pet owners in your community at “Dog Fest!” Most importantly, spend a fantastic fall afternoon with your dog and other pet lovers!!

7. In honor of “Dog Fest,” Animal Connection has collaborated with Three Notch’d Brewery to brew the “Big Dog Blonde Ale!” One dollar from every pint sold at “Dog Fest” will be donated to support local rescue groups in Charlottesville and Central Virginia!

8. The awesome gang from Mox Box will be attendance! That means you can take photo booth pictures with your costumed pet!
