Jean Case, the owner of Early Mountain Vineyards, has a passion for the state of Virginia! A Virginia resident for 30 years, she loves to showcase what this state has to offer! With more than 55 acres, this vineyard is the perfect place to get a taste of what the home of the Blue ridge mountains has to offer!

Early Mountain Vineyards currently has seven wines to enjoy. As part of their 2015 vineyard expansion, Early Mountain Vineyards increased its acreage of classic Bordeaux-type varietals such as Cabernet Franc and Merlot and added new varietals including Malvasia Bianca, Sauvignon Blanc, and Tannat.

Early Mountain Vineyards is an idyllic spot for a wedding or rehearsal dinner! Aside from the gorgeous views, Early Mountain Vineyards provides brides and grooms a free stay in the cottage on the grounds the night of the wedding. Two rustic barns adorn the grounds, dating from 1787 and 1811, and provide perfect photo backdrops for your wedding party.

Ben Jordan oversees all aspects of the winemaking, vineyards and production at Early Mountain Vineyards. He is a native Virginian who began his winemaking career in Sonoma County with Dutcher Crossing Winery and C. Donatiello Winery. Ben exemplifies the mission at Early Mountain Vineyards to produce the highest quality wines.

10. Executive Chef Ryan Collins

Executive Chef Ryan Collins is a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute. Ryan was born and raised in the Washington, DC area. His seasonal menus not only complement the wines at Early Mountain Vineyards, they also showcase how much Virginia has to offer agriculturally.
