Tavern On The James is well known for their Burger of the Day and their Monster Burger is a clear favorite! This burger is ground in house with a combination of ground beef and ribeye, then topped with melted swiss cheese, two pieces of applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and red onions. Instead of a bun, this beast uses two Texas toast grilled cheese sandwiches with American cheese for a bun! Outrageous!!!

They have 10 draft beers with 4 or 5 local beers on tap all the time and they make their own Bloody Mary mix, which is a must try!

On the first Tuesday of Every month, starting at 4:30 pm, Tavern on the James prepares their famous ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT seafood and fried chicken night! Serving succulent crab legs, mouthwatering shrimp, fried oysters and Tavern on the James’ fried chicken! It’s only $28.95 for adults and $14.95 for children, but it’s first come first serve!
