This is an elegant blend of two distinct clones of Caberent Franc. A judicious blending of these produces an extraordinary wine combining both dark red berry fruit as well as a smooth tannic backbone that is a consequence of growing in shalee soils rather than red clay. Matured in fine French oak, the resulting wine is better appreciated as a European red than an East Coast Cabernet Franc. Definitely a great wine to store.
