Brian Ashworth, Owner Of Ace Biscuit & Barbecue, Confirms That Ace Is Opening In A New Location On Harris Street!

Brian Ashworth, the owner and pit-boss at Ace Biscuit & Barbecue, joined me on The I Love CVille Show.

Brian let us know that Ace Biscuit & Barbecue will be moving from its current location on Henry Avenue to a new location on Harris Street later this year (potentially December). Ace is moving into the old Valley Office Machines spot. Brian’s new restaurant will give Ace an additional 1,000 square feet, which will increase the current seating capacity from 8 guests to 30-40 guests.

Brian will introduce beer, wine and spirits at the new new location and will launch a happy hour as well. The menu will also be updated with new additions like a chopped salad and grilled veggies.

We also chatted about Brian’s affinity for Wu-Tang Clan, his love for Charlottesville, Virginia and the anger he felt during and after August 12, 2017. We spotlighted Brian’s evolution as a chef, including his time working under Chefs Ivan Rekosh and Andrew Silver at Zocalo before opening Ace.
