CATS!! CATS!! CATS!! Our furry felines were the hot topic of “The Caring For Creatures” show! Mary Birkholz, the founder & president of Caring For Creatures, welcomed Candy Lilly and Ed Lilly to “The Caring For Creatures Show,” which is broadcasted every Thursday at 3 pm on The I Love CVille Network!
While dogs get a lot of our attention, cats certainly need our help as well. In fact, I learned about “Trapping, Neutering & Returning (TNR)” cats to the world and how important this process is. For example, one cat and its offspring can yield 420,000 cats in seven years! Think about that!! We must do a better job of prioritizing cat colonies across the country.
Caring For Creatures, Central Virginia’s first no-kill animal sanctuary, has saved the lives of thousands of animals across the country. Mary and her team adopt the animals on the KILL LIST and bring them to Caring For Creatures in Fluvanna County.
Mary is AN ABSOLUTE SAINT!!
