Restaurateur Dino Hoxhaj Will Open “Dino’s Wood Fired Pizza & Rotisserie Chicken” In Dairy Market This Summer

Restaurateur Dino Hoxhaj is latest entrepreneur to announce a new restaurant in the Dairy Market Food Hall. Hoxhaj confirmed with I Love CVille that he will open “Dino’s Wood Fired Pizza & Rotisserie Chicken” this summer.

“You can expect wood-fired pizza, calzones, wraps and salads,” Hoxhaj said. “And world-flavored chicken and beer and wine!”

Located in the historic Monticello Dairy Building, Dairy Market is the first market hall concept in Central Virginia. At capacity, the Dairy Market will have up to 18 merchant stalls and 11,500 square feet of retail space.

Dino’s is the fifth restaurant to confirm its lease commitment in Dairy Market. Tom Bowe, the owner of Take It Away Sandwich Shop on The UVa Corner, Angelic Hawkins Jenkins, the owner of Angelic’s Kitchen & Catering,LLC, Jay Pun, the co-owner of Chimm – Thai & SouthEast Asian Street Food, and New York City’s Eleva Coffee have all confirmed that they will open this summer.

“Dairy Market is going to be the hub of dining and entertaining in Charlottesville,” Hoxhaj said to The I Love CVille Network.

In another I Love CVille scoop, Hoxhaj confirmed that he sold his first restaurant, The Brick Oven in the Rio Hill Shopping Center, in January, 2020. His focus is now 110% on Dino’s.

Chris Henry, the owner of Stony Point Development Group, is the visionary and driving force behind Dairy Market and Dairy Central on Preston Avenue.

Dairy Central will be a multi-use complex that will feature 50,000 square feet of new Class A office space, 180 one- and two-bedroom luxury apartments, over 30,000 square feet of shopping and restaurant space, on-site parking, entertainment and 6,000 square feet of event space for up to 300 people.

This new development will revolutionize the 10th and Page and Preston Avenue corridors.
