I had SOOOO MUCH FUN at Dog Fest Charlottesville yesterday, especially as a judge of the dog costume contest!! The special lady in this pic, Pattie Boden, the visionary owner behind Animal Connection – All Natural Store for Healthy Pets, hosted a fabulous event that welcomed nearly 5,000 people to IX Art Park to benefit animal rescue groups across Charlottesville and Central Virginia!
I Love CVille was a proud presenting sponsor of Dog Fest, which featured live music by The Pollocks, food trucks, 50+ local pet-friendly vendors, animal non-profits, the “Big Dog Blonde Ale” by talented Brewmaster Dave Warwick and Three Notch’d Brewing Company, adoptable dogs and cats and sooooo many family-friendly activities!!
Congratulations to Erika Renee, the director of Green Dogs Unleashed, and her team for winning the $500 Grand Prize at the costume contest. Erika, your team’s costume was SO FREAKIN’ EPIC!!!
Dog Fest epitomizes why I LOVE CVILLE: Positivity, Community, Fun, Social Entrepreneurship, Dogs, Kindness, The Golden Rule, Cold Beer, Delicious Food, Friends and Family!
