John Shanesy, executive chef at Commonwealth Restaurant & Skybar, joined me live on The I Love CVille Show to talk about his entrepreneurial ideas for his new restaurant concept, his favorite restaurants and dishes in Charlottesville and so much more. We also discussed the trials and tribulations of parenthood, including how John balances being a husband and father while living the chef life.

John and his brother, Chef Scott Shanesy of She-Wolf Bakery in New York City, are hosting two “POP-UP” events in the next few days here in Charlottesville.

The first “pop-up” will be this Friday, July 19th at Citizen Bowl Shop on The Downtown Mall from 6-11 pm.

The next “pop-up” will be this Sunday, July 21st at Commonwealth Restaurant & Skybar from 11am-7pm.
