1. The U.S. reported 4.6 million vaccine doses administered on Saturday, a new single-day record. That brings the daily average of doses administered over the past week to 3.1 million. The country is reporting 70,000 new coronavirus cases per day, a level in line with the summer 2020 surge when average case counts peaked at 67,000 in late July.

2. PepsiCo said in February that fourth-quarter net revenue at Frito-Lay North America increased 5% on a year-over-year basis to $5.4 billion. The company produces more than 1,200 different types of snacks, including brands like Cheetos, Doritos, Lay’s, Smartfood and Ruffles. North American sales of savory snacks like chips, popcorn and pretzels climbed to $56.9 billion in 2020, an 11% increase from the previous year, according to Euromonitor International.
