The husband and wife duo behind Greenberry’s Coffee Co., Sean and Roxanne Simmons knew they wanted to bring a higher quality of coffee to the public. After years in the corporate world, they decided to learn the heart and soul of coffee from Alfred Peet, the pioneer who first brought high-end coffee to America in the 1960s. From that knowledge grew Greenberry’s Coffee Co., named after Sean’s ancestor who exhibited the same dedication to hard work and quality that they wanted to bring to the coffee world and opening their flagship store on Barracks Rd. in 1992.

Twenty-five years later, Greenberry’s Coffee Co. has developed into more than just a single coffee shop. While still maintaining that home away from home feeling within each store, Greenberry’s Coffee Co. has continued to grow with the trends and with the support of the growth in appreciation and knowledge of Specialty Coffee, so did the demand for Greenberry’s. Sean & Roxanne then started franchising Greenberry’s Coffee Co. and partnering with like-minded people who share their same passion for coffee, quality and customer service.

Sean and I started Greenberry’s 25 years ago with the intent of offering our customers a home away from home experience where they can enjoy a delicious cup of coffee and pastry over conversation. Greenberry’s is a passion for me. The satisfaction and warmth that I get from making our customers happy is immeasurable. I really love what I do and look forward to the upcoming years!

Away from Greenberry’s, I enjoy reading History Books, Historical Architecture, Traveling and Hiking.

I joined the Greenberry’s team just over 6 months ago and a very exciting time its been. What I like most about Greenberry’s is the teamwork and the sense of belonging that you get when working in such a small and close-knit group. What I love most is that we all strongly believe in what we offer which makes it truly enjoyable. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors; hiking & tennis, traveling and spending time with my family.

Every day starts with a fresh brewed cup of Greenberrys Italian espresso blend. It rocks! When not at work as the ATF (All Things Financial), you will likely find me playing tennis or golf, working out or just spending times with family and friends.

Since joining over 5 years ago, I have experienced all areas of Greenberry’s, from the kitchen, the bar, roasters and now Franchising and Corporate Training. Greenberry’s has allowed me to grow in more ways than one and has given me the opportunity to be part of more than just a team but a family – my corporate family 🙂 Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, reading and traveling.

I have been part of the Greenberry’s team for nearly 10 years. Master Roaster during the day, husband and father in the evening. I have always been passionate about the coffee industry but Greenberry’s has always brought a sense of comfort through the team’s constant push for consistency and perfecting each batch. More than just coffee, I truly enjoy working with the team. In my down time, I enjoy reading, writing, music and hanging out with my family.

I have had the pleasure of being part of the Greenberry’s team for six years during which time I worked as the head chef at our flagship store’s kitchen assisting in the development of our current food program as well as the menu and operations in our stores in Saudi Arabia. Recently, I have moved into a Sales position and continue to help with deliveries. What I love most about Greenberry’s is the strength in its foundation and constantly working towards what we believe in while responding to ongoing customer needs and preferences without losing sight of who we are. In my free time, I enjoy landscaping, cooking and riding my motorcycle.

I joined Greenberry’s Coffee Co. roughly 2 1/2 years ago as a Barista but have recently started working at the warehouse as Asst. Warehouse Manager. I love everything coffee and practicing my latte art. Greenberry’s has given me the opportunity to grow not only personally but develop professionally. In my free time, I enjoy kayaking, horeseback riding and jiu jitsu.
