Jerry Miller: Alright, from an investment standpoint, if you are a commercial or real estate investor, where should you put your dollars in Charlottesville?
Michael Guthrie: Ok, I’m going to give you my secret, and my agents are going to be mad at me. I actually think the Orangedale Neighborhood is the sleeper right now.
It’s a neighborhood with duplexes. They trade anywhere from $100-$150K. If you know where Orangedale is, it’s five minutes from Wegmans and from everything that’s happening over there. Plus, as Charlottesville comes south, if the strategic investment area comes about, you’re five or ten minutes from there. You’re an easy five minute drive to Brazos Tacos.
I mean, why wouldn’t you want to live there for that reason alone?
Jerry Miller: I totally agree with that. I think the Southside of Charlottesville is where the money is going to be, it’s the hot spot of Charlottesville, without question…
