Jerry Miller, CEO

Minnush, a Charlottesville-based sephardic fusion band, joined me to perform live on The I Love CVille Show!

Band members Susan Gaeta on guitar/vocals, Gina Sobel on flute/guitar/vocals and Trevor Pietsch on bass played some incredible Sephardic music on set, and explained the origins and cultural significance of Sephardic music!

Sephardic music has its roots in the Jewish communities of miedeival Spain and Portugal and picked up influences from surrounding European countries after Jewish expulsion from Spain in 1492 and Portugal in 1496.

Minnush is performing this Sunday night, June 23rd at The Front Porch in Charlottesville. Doors open at 6:30pm and showtime is at 7pm. Tickets can be purchased in advance here:
