Moe’s Original BBQ Opening Second Location In Former Mono Loco Restaurant Spot On Water Street

Moe’s Original BBQ-Charlottesville is opening a second location in the former Mono Loco Restaurant spot!! This is great news!! I’m very happy for Ashleigh Abrams and Mike Abrams. This entrepreneurial couple is making CVille a better place.

Here’s why I think Moe’s will CRUSH IT on the Charlottesville Downtown Mall:

(1). BBQ is an underserved category on The Mall. The Whiskey Jar does BBQ very well. Wilson Richey’s restaurant is really the only eatery that offers really good BBQ. I think Moe’s will be a strong second option in this category, especially for folks who want more “fast casual” and less “table service.”

(2). Mike and Ashleigh serve really, really good food. My family LOVES Moe’s because the BBQ is super legit and the prices are reasonable. They also offer different Daily Specials like their “Thanksgiving Day Turkey Sandwich,” which is a quick trip to Yum City.
