Executive Chef Curtis Shaver of Hamiltons’ at First & Main beat two-time champion Reggie Calhoun of Commonwealth Restaurant & Skybar, 165-119, to claim his first “Duel Chef Showdown” title on Monday at Tin Whistle Irish Pub.
Shaver won three of four total courses. Calhoun’s braised boneless beef short ribs dish (second course) was the most popular one of the night.
Hunter Harding served as sous chef for Shaver while Frank Russo was the sous chef for Calhoun.
The “Duel Chef Showdown” and sponsors Tin Whistle Irish Pub, I Love CVille, Scoutology and VMV Brands raised $500 for The Arc of the Piedmont.
