HOWS Project – Houses Of Wood & Straw, is an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives and well-being of “outside dogs” in Charlottesville and the surrounding counties. Stacey and Jaleen talked about HOWS’s mission and birth-story. HOWS strives to protect the well-being of “outside dogs,” who have been subjected to inappropriate but often legal conditions.
