Chefs Ivan Rekosh and Andrew Silver have influenced CVille’s culinary culture as much as any restaurateurs in Central Virginia history. Zo.Ca.Lo. Restaurant is damn good because it offers a delicious and consistent menu, reasonable prices and fantastic service. Plus, the cocktail menu is bonafide, baby!

2. Timberwood Grill

Timberwood Grill is a hot-spot North of CVille that offers an awesome craft beer selection, some of the best burgers in town and a kick-ass overall experience.

If you put a second Timberwood Grill in Belmont, it would turn into an epicenter of food, fun and friends! Seriously, this is one of the best restaurant brands in CVille!

3. Eppie’s Restaurant

Eppie’s Restaurant is a sweet spot for lunch, but it would be even sweeter if we could enjoy Danny Epstein’s fast-casual concept on Pantops, Barracks Road or Forest Lakes. We can taste the ham biscuits now in Crozet!!

Michael’s Bistro is a fantastic restaurant, especially for a date or when family is in town. Their craft beer selection is wonderful. It’s so good, they should open another one so they can fill even more tables and stomachs! (wink wink…The Belmont Neighborhood)

Dr. Ho’s Humble Pie has gained an insane following despite not technically being in CVille. Can you imagine how many more pies he could sell if he were closer to the heart of CVille?

Maya Restaurant has delicious comfort food and cocktails that rock. We’d love to see Maya Restaurant in a second location, so restaurant lovers North of CVille can also enjoy head chef Christian Kelly’s orgasmic menu.

7. Downtown Grille

The Downtown Grille’s crisp and white interior sets up an atmosphere of class. It’s probably the only place in town you can get live Maine Lobster. Wouldn’t it be nice if there were two places? Hey, Robert, we love your restaurant!

8. Mono Loco Restaurant

Beer Run has the best craft beer selection, which probably explains why it’s always packed. With that kind of demand, Josh and John would be crazy not to open another location.
