With so many outstanding restaurants in CVille, there are a lot of wonderful restaurants that don’t get enough love. That’s why we’re shining a spotlight on 5 of our favorite “DL” CVille eateries. These 5 places pack a punch, so we hope you’ll give them a try.
1. The Livery Stable
The Livery Stable is a great new pub that’s opened up on the Downtown Mall right at the end of the Omni parking lot. They have really fun friendly bartenders, a unique wine selection, and delicious yet affordable food like the spicy crazy legs or BBQ chicken flat bread. Come to this chill cozy pub on a cold night, and make some new friends.
2. The Southern Way Cafe (Crozet)
The Southern Way Cafe specializes in classic American cuisine that’ll stick to your ribs. Be sure to unbuckle your belt. It’s impossible not to wolf it all down.
3. Toro’s Tacos
Try some of the best house-made margaritas in town as well as tacos, quesadillas, and a plethora of appetizers. This place is gonna kill it on The UVa Corner!
4. FIG
Looking for some classic New Orleans flavor, or a bit of Mediterranean spice? Then head on down to FIG (short for “Food Is Good”), which celebrated its Grand Opening on Thursday, October 3 on The UVa Corner (formerly Cafe Europa).
5. Pasture
For affordable small plate, tapas-style soul food. Go to Pasture. They don’t just have delicious Southern cuisine, they also have great regional beers. Try the candybar for dessert.
