Mincer’s has been a part of UVA culture since it opened in 1948 as a smoke shop. They then started to sell stationary for UVA students to write back home and eventually moved to the UVA merchandise they sell today.

Many people compare the old fashioned charm of Timberlakes Drug Store to stepping back in time. Everything from the pharmacy in the front and the soda fountain in the back reminds you of when it first opened in 1917.
