Aside from being the home of the pizza burger, Jak’ N Jil makes one good dog. For two bucks, you get a hot dog with mustard, onion and their homemade chili!

Boylan Heights has one serious hot dog. The Ray-dog has yellow mustard, banana peppers, diced romaine lettuce, tomato salsa, shredded pepper jack cheese and Sriracha sour cream. Tell me you don’t want to try that right now!

The Lazy Parrot Grill has two chili cheese dogs topped with no bean chili and American cheese.
4. Riverside North

Riverside is a great place for students. It’s reasonably priced and the food is awesome.

Timberlakes is a charming window into the past. Sit in their black and white tiled soda fountain and enjoy an great chili dog.
6. Chaps Ice Cream

Chaps Ice Cream is a cute vintage style diner with great hot dogs and burgers.
7. Five Guys

Five Guys is known for their excellent burgers and fries, but their Kosher hot dogs and bacon dogs are seriously underrated.

The Cook-Out is my favorite place for a banana pudding shake, but I can’t go without ordering one of their excellent and crunchy corn dogs. Their hot dogs are awesome too!
