Nestled in a quiet valley at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, DelFosse Vineyards & Winery invites you to come explore. A brief thirty-minute drive from Charlottesville will lead you to their scenic location where you can experience the solitude of the Virginia countryside.

They offer a variety of activities for your enjoyment. Take a tour of the vineyard, one of the only terraced vineyards in the state. Taste their unique variety of wines, ranging from Merlot to Petit Mensang. Bring the family and enjoy a calm picnic by the lake. Soon you will be able to enjoy a hike or a bike ride on one of the many trails being created that will surround the vineyard.

DelFosse Vineyards & Winery was established in 2000 in the Monticello AVA wine region. The location is exquisite, hugged between the hills, but with the elevation to guarantee not only flavorful wine but also breathtaking views. The area, which spans over 330 acres, will eventually include five miles of hiking and biking trails, a functional spring for the bottling of spring water, and historically preserved buildings. So go climb a mountain!—and reward yourself with some wine upon your return.
