Karen and her husband Jim opened Roxie Daisy in August 2011 with the idea of providing Charlottesville residents, and the numerous out-of-town visitors, a place to shop for elegant, and elegantly rustic, home furnishings. The aesthetic is eclectic, but their leaning and true passion is French inspired. Serene, neutral palettes make them happy.
You are invited in; you will find that local artisans share the shelves with antiques from around the world and the latest offerings from their vendors. Visit with them and see that they have dedicated themselves to making the store a respite from the hustle-bustle world. Read through the books, try on the jewelry, appreciate the artwork, sit for a spell on the furniture, and be sure to sample a bite of the delicious toffee!
