Jay Pun and his family have done it again!! Chimm – Thai & SouthEast Asian Street Food in 5th St. Station is a bonafide smash hit!!
Jay Pun, who co-owns this fabulous restaurant with his software engineer Aunt Pim Little and his retired physician father Pong Punyanitya, has created a dining destination on the Southside of CVille. This is the same family behind Thai Cuisine & Noodle House behind The Shops at Stonefield.
Some of our I Love CVille Team enjoyed date night at CHIMM, a Thai and Southeast Asian eatery featuring traditional Thai dishes, Vietnamese Pho and other delicious Asian “street food” iterations!
We LOVED all these dishes, especially the Drunken Noodles With Duck ($15.50). Guys, you need to try CHIMM immediately. It’s A+!!

Drunken Noodles With Duck: wide rice noodles, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers and Thai basil leaves, stir-fried in a spicy sauce, served on a bed of lettuce ($15.50). This dish is perfect with Dave Warwick’s Three Notch’d Brewing Company “Ghost” APA.

Steamed Dumplings: ground pork, crab, water chestnuts, egg and oyster sauce in wonton paper with soy sauce (4 pieces for $6). This dish is perfect with Dave Warwick’s Three Notch’d Brewing Company “Ghost” APA.

Fried Chicken Rolls: chicken, cabbage, carrots and cellophane noodles wrapped in wonton paper, deep fried and served with sweet-and-sour sauce (2 rolls for $3).
