I Love CVille Spotlight: Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA

One of our favorite charities- because here at I Love CVille we’re big animal lovers- is the Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA. They’re a nonprofit animal welfare organization that does much more than just house lost animals.

Setting a high standard of excellence, they provide medical treatment, behavioral rehabilitation and a safe environment for homeless, lost and unwanted animals, helping to find places for them in good homes.

They provide a number of other services, including spaying/neutering, licensing your pet, birthday parties at the shelter and a summer camp for 3rd-6th graders, to name just a few.

Recently, they have partnered with Charlottesville Shopping Week where the organizers and shops involved hope to garner both recognition and funds for this worthy cause.
