The Best Of Charlottesville, Virginia: Weekly Recap (December 14, 2018)

by

Today, on The I Love CVille powered by Greenberry’s Coffee at Barracks Road, Dr. Scott Wagner of Scott Wagner Chiropractic and Sports Medicine and Bill Kerr and Cheri Gibbs Kerr of Camryn Limousine, we discussed the following hot topics in Charlottesville, Virginia!

(1). There is a fantastic joint venture on the horizon between Keswick Vineyards and Three Notch’d Brewing Company. Keswick Owner & CEO Al Schornberg broke this news on the show on Monday. What has been the response since we broke this news on-air? How will this impact the marketplace? Will others follow suit and create experiences similar to Tasting Room & Taphouse at Mount Ida Reserve and Meriwether Springs Vineyard & Brewery?? I analyzed and discussed this topic today.

(2). Real Estate Agent April Dent Ward broke the news on The I Love CVille Show about a pending sale on the Kim’s Market property in Fifeville. This is Chris Kabbash’s listing. We discussed and analyzed this story as it continues to build momentum and new wrinkles!

(3). Tiffany Smith, the talented owner of The Virginia Shop, was the first guest to every sing on The I Love CVille Show!! We replayed this sizzle reel clip featuring Tiffany today!! It’s a MUST WATCH!!!

(4). Nolan Hart Stout, the City Hall reporter for The Daily Progress, joined us on the show to discuss City Councilor credit card usage and City Councilors wanting to set their own pay. We heard from Nolan, and then we welcomed Rob Schilling of The Schilling Show for his analysis on the story.

(5). Damien Banks was one of my all-time favorite guests on The I Love CVille Show. This dude is super approachable, very charismatic and confident and a genuine leader in our community. He’s the founder and CEO of the BCBA Banks Collage Basketball Association, the premiere basketball league in Charlottesville and Central Virginia. We played two highlight clips from Damien’s interview today, including one clip that showcases a City Councilor or Board of Supervisor waiting to happen.

I also put Damien on the spot and asked him, “Who are the best BCBA players of all-time?”

(6). Young bull Fernando Fernando FerCuts Garay is about to open House Of Cuts Barber Studio at 103 14th st NW on The University of Virginia Corner. House Of Cuts is a new modern barber studio that will feature other gifted barbers, including rising superstar Jason Aguilar.

I’m analyzed and discussed Fernando and why I think he will be an impactful business owner in Charlottesville, Virginia today on the show.
