Evanne Armour joined the Newsplex team as a reporter in August 2012. Evanne comes to Charlottesville from New York City where she worked behind the scenes at the “Imus in the Morning” program on the FOX Business Network. Before that, she spent time interning at NBC’s TODAY Show. She’s our choice for #1 hottest TV personality in CVille!
2. Marcella Robertson

Marcella was born in Germany, then moved to Stafford, Virginia where she spent most of her life. She is happy to now call Charlottesville home. When she’s not at work, you can catch her exploring the area, spending time with her friends and family, and traveling.
3. Alana Austin

Alana Austin joined the NBC29 news team in June 2013. She comes to NBC29 after working as a videojournalist for seven months in the Roanoke/Lynchburg market. During that time, she covered anything from politics to education to severe weather, while honing her videography skills.
4. Whitney Harris

Before coming to NBC29, Whitney worked as a reporter and anchor for CNS-TV at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism. As a race and politics reporter for CNS-TV, she covered everything from the Supreme Court arguments on healthcare, to the passage of the same sex marriage bill in the Maryland Legislature.
5. Rachel Ryan

Rachel Ryan joined the Newsplex in July 2010 as a producer/reporter. Originally from the great state of Ohio, Rachel attended Georgetown University, where she played on the varsity field hockey team.

Molly joined the NBC29 news team as a general assignment reporter in September 2012. You can also catch her anchoring NBC29 HD News at Sunrise on weekend mornings.
7. Amy Vu

Amy Vu joined the NBC29 news team as a general assignment reporter in December 2012. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, so Charlottesville has been home for almost 5 years!
8. Loren Thomas

Loren joined the news team in January 2013 as a multimedia journalist. Before working at the Newsplex she interned at WTXL ABC27, in Tallahassee, FL. There she was a web producer and assignment desk editor. She also interned with the Akron Beacon Journal as a student reporter for their long-form projects team.
