Being from Rochester, James fell in love with weather because of lake-effect snow. He went on to study meteorology at Oswego State University, and graduated in May of 2013. Following that summer he worked briefly with TV3 Winchester, then moved down the valley and is now here at the Charlottesville Newsplex.

Brantley Ussery has been following his dream of becoming a weatherman since he was four years old, when he met his calling visiting a local television station. His life in North Carolina allowed Brantley to experience every weather phenomenon, which fueled his goal of becoming a meteorologist.

Rob joined the NBC29 news team as a general assignment reporter in September 2013. He is a graduate of James Madison University where he received his Bachelors in Media Arts and Design in 2012.

Born and raised in Philadelphia and its suburbs, Chris Stover made the move to Charlottesville to join the Newsplex team in January 2010. Chris graduated summa cum laude from Temple University in Philadelphia with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in American Studies.

Bo Sykes joined the news team at the Charlottesville Newsplex in June 2005 and currently anchors Good Morning Charlottesville and CBS19 News at Noon. Before stepping in front of the camera in Charlottesville, Bo spent more than 2 years working behind the scenes as an assignment editor at WFTV-TV in Orlando, Fla.

Henry Graff joined the NBC29 news team in July 2003. He has reported on a number of stories in our backyard, up and down the East Coast and around the world. Henry has been to Haiti twice since the devastating earthquake there.

Norm Sprouse a native Virginian and life long Virginia resident, Norm was born in Richmond, grew up in Louisa, Charlottesville, and Fluvanna. He graduated from Fluvanna County High School. As for college, he spent time at Virginia Tech, PVCC, Blue Ridge Community College, and JMU.
